Thank you to all the beta testers who showed up—on indecently short notice—at the informal meeting of minds, breadboards and GSM modules. There's nothing like meeting face-to-face and testing things when it comes to what THINGCONNECT does best: to mix hardware, software and radio waves.
Here's a list of ingredients for the upcoming tutorial I'm working on. Adafruit FONA 808 GSM+GPS module, Adafruit Pro Trinket 3V Arduino-compatible uC board, THINGCONNECT, IBM's Node-RED and Bug Labs' Freeboard. All open-source, open-hardware, and easy to set up on your own server. If you're a THINGCONNECT beta tester, you are getting your own cloud server for testing.
